Coindrawer uses banking-grade encryption to protect our systems and your coins. Additionally, we regularly sweep 80-90% of our coins to “cold-storage”. Those coins cannot be spent and the private keys are stored in a bank vault for safe-keeping.

There currently are no fees for trading or to use your wallet while we grow.

Bitcoin is a digital or "crypto" currency that enables instant payments to any person, regardless of their location. Bitcoin serves as a unit of exchange for business transactions. It is recognized by some regulatory authorities as real money. "Altcoins" are alternatives to bitcoin and are also a "cryptocurency". Altcoins functions nearly identically to bitcoins.

Digital or "crypto" currency is a form of electronic money and used as a unit of exchange between computers and networks. Digital currency is not issued by central banks or backed by a national currency.

A QR code is a machine-readable code consisting of an array of black and white squares, typically used for storing URL's or other information for reading by the camera on a smartphone. Coindrawer uses QR codes to store a coin address for reading by QR-capable apps on a smartphone.
