Two-factor authentication provides better protection for your Coindrawer account. If you choose to opt-in, you will be required to enter a code sent to your mobile phone via SMS or a call every time you log in to an untrusted computer.
How to Enable Two-factor Authentication
- Visit your account settings page.
- Click "Add Phone."
- Supply the required information in the displayed popup window. You will be allowed to choose if you would like to receive the code via SMS or a phone call.
- Once you click "Submit," a seven-digit code will be sent to your phone. Enter this code on the resulting screen to verify your phone.
- After you have completed this setup, you will be asked to enter a new seven-digit code that will be sent to your phone via SMS or a call every time you log in to Coindrawer on an untrusted computer.
Alternatively, you have the option to receive these codes via Google Authenticator, a code generator created by Google and available as an app on your smartphone. You may find installation instructions for Android, Apple, and Blackberry devices here
. If you would like to use this app in place of SMS, simply select “Google Authenticator” on the account settings page. Scan the resulting QR code with the Google Authenticator app on your smartphone to finish this quick setup.
